Constellation piercing
A constellation is two or three small studs grouped on the lobe like a handful of stars rather than lined up in a row. It reads as one composed piece of jewelry, and it's a lovely way to fill a lobe that already has a first piercing.
Because the spacing is the whole look, each point is marked and adjusted with you before piercing. The shape is built around your lobe and any piercings already there.

Does a constellation piercing hurt?
Each one is a quick lobe pinch — you just feel it two or three times.
Everyone feels piercings differently. Syd talks you through each step and never rushes — and a single-use hollow needle is far gentler than a piercing gun.
Jewelry
Small flat-back studs in implant-grade titanium work best — bezels, prong-set gems, tiny stars and moons. Mixing sizes is what makes the cluster feel deliberate.

How long does a constellation piercing take to heal?
Expect 6–12 weeks. Clean it with sterile saline twice a day and otherwise leave it alone.
Full aftercare guide- Clean around each stud individually rather than swiping across the group.
- Avoid sleeping on that side while the cluster settles.
- Keep hair products and perfume away from the lobe while it heals.
Constellation piercing questions
How much does a constellation piercing cost?
Each piercing in the cluster is priced as a lobe: $30 each, or $50 per pair. A three-point constellation is $80.
Can a constellation be built around a lobe piercing I already have?
Yes — that's often the nicest version. Your existing piercing becomes one of the points and the new ones are placed around it.
