Tragus piercing
The tragus is the little shield of cartilage by your cheek. It's a small spot that carries a tiny gem beautifully, and it's visible from the front, which few ear piercings are.
Tragus size and thickness vary a lot, so Syd checks there's enough room for the jewelry to sit comfortably.

Does a tragus piercing hurt?
More pressure than sharpness, and you may hear a small pop — that's normal and nothing to worry about.
Everyone feels piercings differently. Syd talks you through each step and never rushes — and a single-use hollow needle is far gentler than a piercing gun.

How long does a tragus piercing take to heal?
Expect 3–12 months. Clean it with sterile saline twice a day and otherwise leave it alone.
Full aftercare guide- Avoid in-ear earbuds on that side while it heals.
- Keep your phone off that ear, or clean the screen often.
- Plan on a post downsize around 2–3 months, once the initial swelling has fully settled — a shorter post stops the jewelry from catching and tilting.
Tragus piercing questions
How much is a tragus piercing?
A tragus piercing is $45, which includes a selection of jewelry options. Upgrades start at $5.
Can I wear earbuds after a tragus piercing?
Give it time. In-ear buds push directly on the jewelry, so stick to over-ear headphones or the other ear until it has healed.
